Robbie Gray is a professional AFL player and one of the game’s most prolific and exciting forwards. Drafted by Port Adelaide in 2006, Gray made his debut in 2007 and in the same year was awarded with a nomination for the AFL Rising Star award after a standout game where he kicked four goals against Essendon.
Gray has proven that he loves the biggest stage in South Australian football, having dominated the Showdown between Port Adelaide and the Adelaide Crows in recent years, winning a total of four Showdown Medals for best on ground.
His solid career form has also seen him be awarded with four All-Australian honours and three club best and fairest awards.
At the end of the 2017 AFL season, the 200-game champion received the devastating diagnosis of testicular cancer. A testament to his determination and courage, Robbie was able to make a full recovery and resume playing in 2018.
