Knowles is a Central QLD boy from Rockhampton. He has been in the Kookaburras team since 2003 and has had the honour of playing, winning and experiencing Olympic, World Cup and Commonwealth Games tournaments. Outside of competing he has a passion for coaching and being a quality role model for young people. He enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles and school visits. Knowles believes time spent with his young family, provides a great life balance for him away from the demands of training and competition.
