Alicia Quirk (OAM) is a retired professional Australian Rugby 7’s player. She won a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and a Silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She is a 2x World Series Champion and a World Cup Bronze Medalist (2018). She returned to playing after the birth of her daughter Matilda and retired shortly after. She was a part of the historic triple crown winning wider squad for the Australian Women's 7's in 2022. She currently is a mother of 2 and resides in Japan for half of the year.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Moved to Sydney in 2014 and become one of the first Australian Women's 7's players to be professionally contracted by the Australian Rugby Union.
Named player of the tournament in the Dubai leg of the 2014 World Series event
World Series champions for the 2015/2016 season with this being the first ever Australian team male or female to win the World Series
2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, playing every minute of the Olympic tournament
Awarded the Order of Australia Medal in Jan 2017
Inducted into the Wagga Wagga Sporting Hall of Fame
Competed at the first ever Commonwealth Games for Women’s 7’s at the Gold Coast in 2018 bringing home a Silver Medal. Played every minute of the tournament
2017/2018 World Series Champion. 2nd World Series Win in 3 years.
